Joel and Steve are back after apologetically taking a break. Well, not a 'break' exactly - they just had to do other things. Regardless - they're glad to be back!
Steve was a contestant on a Grateful Dead based game show podcast called Guess The Year - and won! That episode will be up Monday, May 1 - check it out wherever you listen to this podcast at!
Joel has also been working with a Pearl Jam related blog, that will be up soon!
Joel and Steve saw comedian Sam Tallent last weekend, that was some savage comedy. He did, in fact, Kill.
Joel saw some fine Disney fare, which was just what he needed.

Joel and Steve visit with Dr. Bob Rauner of Lincoln, NE - who is currently running for re-election to Lincoln Public Schools Board of Directors, District 6!
Dr. Rauner is Chief Medical Officer for OneHealth Nebraska, and is also President of Partnership for a Healthy Nebraska. He has also been publishing YouTube videos with useful information about the Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.

They discuss Joel's 2nd guest appearance on the "Less Than 2000" podcast, which is a good time in and of itself, to talk about the band Tool.
They also endorse Bob Rauner for LPS School Board - who you should totally vote for if you're a fan of schools teaching things like facts.
There is also a brief sports discussion - apparently Major League Baseball is trying to speed things up to make the game more watchable on TV.
Last week was the 25th Anniversary of The Big Lebowski being released, which is a film that provides at least 20% of Joel and Steve's collective personality. Steve gives Miley Cyrus' new album "Endless Summer Vacation" a big thumb's up!

They also reminisce about a concert neither of them attended - today is the 50th Anniversary of the one time the Grateful Dead played Lincoln, NE. No one's noticed but the band's all packed and gone - were they ever here at all?

Steve attempts to bait Joel into an hour of just bashing on Fox News and its followers in light of the recent 'Big Lie' revelations, but Joel isn't having it - which probably makes for a better podcast. They end up talking about other things, like the fact that Steve has never watched the 'X-Files', The Coffee House (at 1324 'P' Street in Lincoln, NE), and why do people still have Twitter accounts.
Joel also gives a shoutout to the new play "Predictor" by Jennifer Blackmer, put on by the Angels Theater Company. "Predictor" is the real-life story of Margaret Crane who, in 1967, defied all odds and expectations to become the inventor of the first home pregnancy test.
